For me it is important to do a job that I am passionate about. I would say that I have always followed this rule or philosophy. My business comes from the intuition that the art of the ancient cabreo could find a second life as a means to illustrate, in an original way, the wineries and, more generally, the territory.
Graduating in Forestry Sciences, I combined what I learned, in particular about the study of the territory and the landscape, with an innate propensity for the visual arts. I found in cabrei and in labels two natural fields in which to exercise my creativity. And we could say that by narrative, descriptive and evocative properties, the label is to the bottle as the cabreo is to the estate. In both cases the work is technical and artistic, having to provide a precise description of various characteristics of an estate, as well as a poetic and evocative narrative.
Drawing and painting are also a means through which to express my vision, the value of the landscape, my love and respect for nature.
In many years of activity, alongside the know-how that I have gained, the idea that a creative, often empathic collaboration with the client, is a fundamental element which has been strengthened. And for this reason, one of the greatest satisfactions is when I find that the client “recognizes” themselves in what I have done.
